Keira is in that wonderful stage where she's really demanding, I think somebody called it the "Terrific Two's" once and I about slapped 'em. Anyways, I obviously try to correct her and teach her the proper way to communicate and it goes something like this:
Keira: GIVE ME A COOKIE!!!
me: Keira, you can't talk to me that way, try it again.
Keira: GIVE. ME. A. COOOOOOOOOKKKKKKIEEEEEE!!!!
me: Keira, you need to say it nicely.
(with the sweetest, most precious look on her little face, she says....)
Keira: Nicely.

5.) I miss you soooooooo much! Both my girls, but especially Amber, has been so very difficult while we are here. I wanted to call you or Amber Smith, but no cell ohone reception. Brace yourself for a long phone call next week. : )

P.S. Yeah, terrific twos (and threes) is a phrase made up by a grandma.
