- Riley and I were driving home from TaeKwonDo the other night when he said, "I can't wait until I'm 40.... 'cause Dad's the best dirt bike rider." Apparently he thinks Billy must be getting better with age.
- Talking the other night before bed... Riley: The real word for Easter is "Revolution." Gina: Uh, I think you mean "Resurrection." Riley: Oh yeah.
- Driving home from Ventura, Keira asks, "What's that smell Mommy?" I told her it was a skunk that must have sprayed somewhere. We couldn't see it, but it was nasty. Riley goes, "It's not that bad... Dad's farts stink worse than that." Billy will be so proud, that's gonna be the best compliment he's ever gotten.
- The kids were having lunch today and both the boys got up at separate times to come tell me something. Zane was first and he happened to burp when he was done. It stunk. I let it go. Then Riley came up, said what he needed to say, then happened to burp too. It stunk as well. They weren't being rude, it just happened, it's natural, I get that. But I did tell them both, nicely I might add, after Riley did it, "Do you guys mind NOT burping in my face, please?" Riley replies, "Oh yeah, I forgot." Forgot? Oh the work I have laid out for me.
This is a picture from his TaeKwonDo Tournament. He got 2nd place for his form and 1st place for sparring! He was totally in his element, we loved watching him do so well at something he loves.Have I mentioned that I love my boys?! Dirt, farts, burps and all.

I think that both are right...I love that Eater is about a Revolution. If he keeps saying that he will understand Jesus' teachings so much better than most. :-)
Riley's other comment, about forgetting not to burb in your face reminds me of the time I caught a jr. high boy grabbing a jr. high girl's boobs, right in front me. I said, "Hey, what are you doing?" To which he replied, "Oh yeah, I'm at church."
That was so very cute... it's good to hear from you Gina!! =)
I stand corrected Ryan. Good point. Riley is just so much deeper than I. :)
Your kids are so funny... I just love kiddos. They crack me up. Right now Drew is teaching Joe to read... so sweet!
