You Put What Where?

So, you know those little pluggy thingies on the front of the tv that you plug your camera, video games, and so forth into? One's yellow, one's white, and one's red. Well, today we had one of Zane's friends over and they were playing in the living room after being outside. Um, one of them talked the other into putting a rollie-pollie into one of those holes... the yellow one to be exact (which is the most used one in this house). I had a terrible time not laughing hysterically; it was SO funny watching their faces and listening to them explain how it happened. One, "But he TOLD me to do it!" The other, "I was just TEASING!" I did get to use the good ol' question, "If he told you to jump off a cliff, would you do it?" and to the other, "Would you tell somebody to jump off a cliff even if you were just teasing?".

I tried briefly to get it out with tweezers which was just pushing it in farther. I'm normally not this humane when it comes to bugs, but I didn't want to poke it to death (especially when Billy suggested using a needle instead, yuck!), besides if it was in fact still alive, I thought maybe it would crawl out. So I decided to just shut the little cover and see what happened. I checked a while later and sure enough, it had made it's way out!

Yea little Rollie-Pollie! Of course when I picked it up to set it free outside, which he surely deserved after that ordeal.... I dropped him on the carpet and haven't found him since. Poor guy is probably on the bottom of one of our shoes.

Not that you asked, but Bible trivia isn't my only forte. The "little plugie thingies"...RCA plug.

I say they get ten points for putting in something that can get itself out. That's half the battle right there!
