Riley was checking out our calendar and he asked about today's BOLD writing, "Election Day... Vote!" He asked what that meant, so I told him that Mom, Dad, and a whole bunch of other people are going to put down our choices for who we want to be the next president.
Riley gave me a wide-eyed startled look, mouth agape, smacked his hand against his forhead and said, "WAIT! George Bush DIED?!"
Yeah, I didn't even try to hide my laugh. When do kids take Government? Ahh, I'll just send him to my Dad's for a few days and have him explain it all! Or we can start TiVo'ing the O'Reilly Factor for him.
