Aging According To Zane

Zane: "I know how people get old; they eat junk food."

Me: "Well, really, Zano, everybody gets old, even you are older than you were yesterday."

Zane: "I don't mean that kind of 'old', I mean when you get old and get cracks on your face."

Yeah, we had this conversation as we were all finishing up the cinnamon twists I baked for a mid-morning snack. Mmmm, I say, "Bring on the 'cracks'!"

One more thing, Casse's at preschool right now while the boys have the whole week off from school. I never realized how quiet it is without Cass around. I've never taken just her out of the equation before, and here I've been blaming Zane the whole time for being the loud and rowdy one!

P.S. In case you're wondering about the elephant picture, I picked it because of their wrinkly skin... or "cracks".
