I intended the title of this post to be about starting the new blog, but as I was typing that, I realized that it's often a question that I ask myself about being a parent... "Uh, am I doing this right?" That's way to deep of a discussion for a first post, so I'll get back to the subject at hand... bloggin'.
I've been wanting to do this for a while to keep friends and family up to date with all the happenings in our family but I've been very intimidated. It's not just me that's concerned either, Billy's worried that it's just ONE more thing for me to do on the computer. I'm pretty sure the kids are all worried that Mom will get stuck in the time warp machine again and forget that lunch has come and gone. I finally decided that I needed a hobby of my own though. One that I could actually do and not have to buy a whole bunch of supplies, find somewhere to store, dust off if I decide to use, and then eventually get discouraged because I didn't get as much done as I had hoped. (The reason for that is usually because I'm talking too much, too!)
So here I go! I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!
Oh, one more thing! We just bought another new hobby... a boat!! We figured we live so close to the lake that we should probably go on it some time. I've been here for 10 years and still haven't been out there! The kids will have a blast, too. The boys have already been out there with Daddy and had a great time. The boat has a lot of fixin' up to do, but I kind of like it that way. There's way less yelling at the kids to keep there feet off the seats!
